Turn the questions into a research plan.
Clarify the hypotheses, outcomes, comparison methods, and expertise the work requires. Establish what would count as a useful result—and what would challenge the method.
INDEPENDENT INQUIRY · ASTROGNOSTICS & ASTROMIRR
Help fund the data, programming, and careful examination needed to put Astrognostics to the test.
Can the method offer useful insight into lived experience? Can its underlying claims hold up to scrutiny? Those questions deserve work we can examine, discuss, and learn from.

Let the findings lead.
WHAT IS BEING EXAMINED?

Astrognostics uses Earth-centered and Sun-centered geometry as a framework for interpreting the conditions around a situation.
I developed it to examine patterns, timing, and the questions we bring to important choices. Astromirr makes that framework available through an AI tool.
Calculating astronomical positions and validating an interpretation are different tasks. The next stage needs to examine what the method adds, where it falls short, and how those conclusions can be checked.
Practical usefulness: Does the experience help people understand a situation and exercise their judgment?
Validity of the claims: Do the proposed correspondences hold up against suitable comparisons and controls?
Useful feedback on one question does not settle the other. The research needs to treat both seriously.

Four connected stages.
One project taking shape.
Clarify the hypotheses, outcomes, comparison methods, and expertise the work requires. Establish what would count as a useful result—and what would challenge the method.
Investigate suitable datasets, access requirements, licensing, and data quality. Let the study design determine which data are needed.
Scope and commission the software needed to prepare data, run consistent analyses, document assumptions, and make the work easier to inspect.
Evaluate the results, describe the limitations, and share what the work finds—including weak, negative, or inconclusive results.
Data access, programming requirements, and cost estimates are still being established. These stages show the intended work while a costed budget is developed. Contributions support the overall project; scope and sequencing may change as those details become clear.
WHAT YOU ARE BACKING
The outcome cannot be bought in advance.
The purpose of support is to make the work possible: access to data, time with qualified collaborators, usable software, and a clear account of what the results do and do not show.
No result or completion date is promised. A finding that changes the method—or shows where it does not work—still tells us something worth knowing.
Support the next stageBEFORE YOU CONTRIBUTE
Planned research and development around Astrognostics and Astromirr, including study design, data access, programming, analysis, and sharing the work. Contributions support the project as a whole, rather than reserving money for one stage.
The work is being scoped. Data requirements and programming estimates will determine the budget. The stages make the intended work visible while those costs are established.
No. This is a one-time contribution to support the project. It does not purchase a session, an Astromirr plan, or a promised research outcome.
Yes. Choose an amount from $5 to $10,000 USD. You can review and change the amount again on Stripe’s checkout page before confirming.
Yes. If you work with research design, suitable datasets, software, or analysis, email Joshua with what you could contribute. For a substantial contribution or a specific collaboration, start with a conversation.
